Glenna-Alice Lewis, née en 1914, conjointe de Peter-J. Lewis, fille de Clinton et Josephine, mère de Edward, Gerald, Barbara et Charlene, est décédée le 4 juin 2010.
Went home to be with her Lord, Friday, June 4, 2010. Glenna was born to Clinton & Josephine Eaton on Nov. 1, 1914. She was predeceased by her husband, Peter J. Lewis, in 1989, and two brothers, James and Norton Eaton (2002 and 1972 respectively) and a sister, Pearl Kiesinger (2009) and a granddaughter, Cynthia (1990). She is survived by two sisters, Ruth (Richard) Ameele and Nettie (Dan) McCullough and a brother, Granger 'Jack' Eaton. She has two sons, Edward and Gerald Lewis, two daughters, Barbara (Richard) Crombach and Charlene (Robert) Davis, three grandsons, Mark and Earl Crombach and Steven Lewis, and one great granddaughter, Sydney Crombach.Glenna was a member of the Immanuel (Congregational) United Church of Christ in Ontario and a member of the Daughters of Union Veterans of the Civil War 1861-1865 and supported many of its activities such as the annual Memorial Services at the Furnaceville Cemetery, and visiting the veterans at Canandaigua V.A. Hospital and planting geraniums on the veterans graves in the Ontario Cemeteries.A private, graveside service is being held at the convenience of the family. A memorial service honoring her life will be held on Thursday, June 17th at 2 pm at the Immanuel United Church of Christ, 1973 Ridge Road, Ontario, NY 14519. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Immanuel UCC or the charity of your choice are requested. Arrangements by MURPHY FUNERAL HOME.
