STAPLETON, Ga. - Mr. Glenn Dale Peters, 61, beloved Husband of 38 years of Letha Holdeman Peters, entered into rest on Tuesday October 31, 2006, at Athens Regional Medical Center, Athens Ga., after a short illness due to cancer. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Saturday Nov. 4, 2006 at Pinecrest Mennonite Church. Ministers are Maynard Peters, Brian Dyck and Randall Goossen officiating. Burial follows in the church cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Friday evening at Pinecrest Mennonite Church. Mr. Peters was a self-employed in various occupation; first in dairy farming, later, as a salesman of MoorMan's Feed Company, and most recently in the trucking business. Mr. Peters was a member of Pinecrest Church of God in Christ, Mennonite. Mr. Peters is survived his wife Letha Holdeman Peters; four sons, Delwyn (Becky) Peters, Louisville, Ga., RaDean (Deanne) Peters, Hartwell, Ga., Shaylan (Diana) Peters, Stapleton, Ga., Kristin (Paula) Peters, Louisville, Ga.; five special grandchildren, Mandy, Emily, Jill, Brent and Shawna; two brothers, Alden Peters, Artis Peters, and a sister, Marcille Holdeman. Mr. Peters was preceded in death by his parents, LeRoy and Ileen Wilson Peters; two brothers, Verle and Merle Peters and infant grandson, Justin Peters. Pallbearers will be Nathan Holdeman, Gene Peters, Kim Holdeman, Ryan Holdeman, Patrick Holdeman, Daniel Holdeman, Galen Holdeman and Craig Peters.
