Glen was born in Webster county and resided in Springfield all of his adult life. Married to Lavern (Burks) McDonald on November 8, 1949. Glen was a truck driver for 47 years. Preceding him in death were his parents; 3 brothers; a baby sister and his buddy Louie. Survivors include his wife; one son, Rick and wife Jan of Nixa; grandson Scott and wife Angie of Nixa; granddaughter Amy of Springfield; step grandsons Jeff, Jody and Chad; great granddaughters Beth and Demi McDonald and Kaycee Caufield; great grandsons Cody and Ely Caufield; brother Robert and wife Mary Lou of Strafford; sister Elner Groseclose of Bates City, Mo.; and many extended family members and friends. Visitation will be Thursday, December 30, 2010 from 6 to 8 P.M. Funeral services will be Friday, December 31, 2010 at 1 P.M. Both will be held at Greenlawn Funeral Home East with burial at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens immediately following funeral.
