-->Gladys Wofford Jackson SPARTANBURG, SC-- Gladys Wofford Jackson, 96, of 309 Appain Drive, Spartanburg, died Wednesday, March 25, 2009 after a short illness. A native of Spartanburg County, she was the widow of Clarence Jackson and daughter of the late Clifford and Mary Cross Wofford. She had been a long-term member of F.B.H. Holiness Church, but had recently returned to her home church, Foster Chapel in Roebuck, SC. Mrs. Jackson worked for years at Pine Street Elementary School. Survivors include one daughter, Lula Belle Browning of Spartanburg; one son, Cecil Collins of Columbus, OH; nine grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 30 great-great grandchildren.
