JEFFERIES, Gladys Rose (nee Smith) - Peacefully on Sunday September 21, 2008, at Oakwood Park Lodge in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Frederick Norman (1997). She lives on in the hearts of her children David (Mary) of St. Catharines, Brian of Niagara Falls, Gwen Steinbach (Peter) of Thorndale, PA, and John (Dawn) of Chippawa. Grandchildren James (Marlaina) Jefferies of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Tara (Steve) Sneider of Lake Ronkonkoma, NY, Marc (Karen) Steinbach of Downingtown, PA, Derek Steinbach of Thorndale, PA, Brian Jefferies Jr. of Welland, great-grandchildren Erika Rose, Kyle Patrick, Christopher James, Olivia Grace, Avery Elizabeth and Curtis Alexander. The family expresses a special thanks to the compassionate and caring staff at Oakwood Park Lodge for helping make Mum's stay there a happy one. The family will receive friends at the MORSE & SON CHAPEL of the MORGAN FUNERAL HOMES, 5917 Main Street, FRIDAY from 2-4 and 7-9. The funeral service will be held in the chapel SATURDAY morning at 10 o'clock. Interment will follow at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens.
