Gladys N. WilliamsGladys N. Williams, age 96, went to be with the lord of Feb. 19, 2007. She was born on born Sept. 13, 1910. She married the love of her life, Joe R. Williams, on Dec. 12, 1926. Gladys was survived by two brothers, Henry and John Hayes; five sons, Joe Lee (Mary), Doug (Judy), Glenn (Nancy), Leonard (Bonnie) and Troy.; four daughters, Christine Harper, Flora Barnes, Lorine Mosley and Wilma Mosley; 36 grandchildren; 46 great grandchildren and 17 great-great grandchildren. Gladys lived her life for her family. She enjoyed sewing, quilting and cooking. Gladys was born in Niota, Tenn. She's been a resident of Belle Glade for the past 61 years. She was a member of the Belle Glade Church of God for 44 years.Gladys enjoyed riding all over the place with her grandson, Curtis Mosley, and great grandson, Boo (Curtis Heath Mosley). They would end their outings over a bowl of ice cream and popcorn.Services were held at Good Shepherd Church of God, Pahokee, on Feb. 22. Officiating was Pastor James H. Brewer. Interment followed at Port Mayaca Cemetery, Port Mayaca.Funeral services were arranged by Glades Funeral Chapel.
