Gladys Moore Smith SPARTANBURG-- Funeral services for Gladys Moore Smith of Spartanburg will be held at the Collins Funeral Chapel, 3120 S. Church St. on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 12 noon with burial following at Collins Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6- 7 pm tonight at Collins Chapel. A native of Spartanburg, she was the widow of the late Willie J. Smith, and the daughter of the late Rev. Leo Moore and the late Gladys Collins Moore. Mrs. Smith leaves to cherish fond memories: three daughters, Anne Skeete of Brooklyn, NY, Darlene D. Long and Arlene D. Drummond, both of Spartanburg; a brother, Rev. L. L. Moore of Fairforest; nine grandsons, William Moore, Tyrone Stevenson, Willie Anthony Stevenson, Willie Lawrence Pearson, Christopher Miles, Marcus Miles, Daniel Anderson, Douglas Mayes, and Carlos Mayes; and a host of other friends and relatives.
