ALBANY Gladys G. Anderson, passed away Sunday, April 25, 2004 at Eden Park Nursing Home in East Greenbush. Born in New Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Irene Goldsmith Anderson. Ms. Anderson was employed by the Watervliet Arsenal during World War II and then for the NY State Dept. of Education from which she retired. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her friends. Ms. Anderson was a former Deacon of the Madison Avenue Presbyterian Church and a membber of the Ft. Orange Chapter of the A.A.R.P. Ms. Ansderson is survived by five cousins, Richard Goldsmith of New Mexico, Barry Goldsmith of Charleston, S.C., Nancy Johnson of Haines City, Fla., Dorothy Van Hoesen of Lakeland, Fla. and Margaret Stanley of East Greenbush; also survived by her dear friends, Julie Maynes, Mary Alice Maynes and Marie and Dick Frasier. Funeral services will be held 12 Noon Wednesday, April 28, 2004 at the Tebbutt Funeral Home, 633 Central Avenue, Albany. Interment will be in Chestnut Lawn Cemetery, New Baltimore.
