Woodville - Ginger Mae Chester Jackson, 61, of Woodville, passed away Friday, December 10, 2004. A native of Greene County, Mrs. Jackson was a daughter of Virginia Chester and the late Otis Chester, Sr.She accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age and joined the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. She was the owner and operator of Jacksonís Barbeque, Union Point. She also worked at Chipman Union for 13 years.She was united in holy matrimony to Perry Jackson on December 23, 1963. He preceded her in death.She is survived by her mother Virginia Chester, six children, Vivian (William) Breeding, Janice (Harvey) Wallace, Dexter Jackson, Tara Jackson, Mario (Lisa) Jackson, Kevin Jackson. She also leaves to cherish her memory four sisters, Marie Criddell, Dorothy (Roy) Jackson, Vera (Jack) Osbourn, Agnes (Johnny) Parrott; five brothers, Millard (Jackie) Chester, Lovis (Evelyn) Chester, Willie (Jaunita) Chester, Otie (Daisy) Chester, Harold (Ann) Chester; 12 grandchildren, 3 brothers-in-law, Larry (Mattie) Jackson, Peter Jackson; 5 sisters-in-law, Julia (Willie) Smith, Margaret (James) Curry, Jessie Ruth Franklin, Betty Jackson, Shirley Stevens, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and great friends.Funeral services will be held Sunday, Dec. 12, twelve noon at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church with Pastor Anthony Bryant officiating. Burial in Saint Paul Baptist Church Cemetery, Woodville. The body will be placed in the church at 11:00 a.m. Watts Funeral Home of Union Point in charge of arrangements.
