Gerald Allen Owens April 21, 1948 - November 22, 2014 Hemingway Gerald Allen Owens, 66, husband of Gloria Eaddy Owens passed away Saturday November 22, 2014 in a Myrtle Beach hospital. Gerald was born in Hemingway, SC a son of the late Allen Perry Owens Sr. and Evelyn Nettles Owens. Gerald enjoyed spending time with family and building things. Gerald was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are his wife, Gloria Eaddy Owens; Daughter; Charlotte Erin Owens, son; Ethan Allen Owens, mother; Evelyn Nettles Owens, and Sister; Elaine Owens (Timmy) Todd and a number of nieces, nephews, and special friends. Gerald was predeceased by his brothers, Allen Perry "A.P." Owens and Charles E. "C.E." Owens. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday November 25, 2014 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel. Burial, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, will be in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:30 AM until 1:00 PM Tuesday, November 25, 2014 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel, 416 N. Main St., Hemingway, SC 29554.
