CLARK - Georgina Laura (nee Anderson) October 11, 1919 December 8, 2006. Peacefully at St. Paul's Hospital Palliative Care Unit following a brief illness. Georgie was born in Three Rivers, Quebec to George and Annie Anderson, the youngest of three daughters. She resided there until she married Les Clark in 1941. They had four sons Kerry, George, Jim (Kathy), and Keith (Malin). Throughout her life she provided her family with support, encouragement and devotion. She was capable, industrious, intelligent and had a wonderful sense of humor. She was an example to all she came in contact with and was never too busy to give of herself. Although loving many, she had a special place in her heart for her grandchildren Jesse (Marlene ZoI, Jackson), James, Jeffery, Laura, Andrew, Julia, Emma and Max who will all miss her dearly. She was predeceased by her husband of 59 years Les, parents, parents-in-law James and Jean, sisters Elsie (Fred) Smith and Norma (James) Early, daughter-in-law Carol, and brother-in-law John Keith. Georgie's warmth touched all she met as her innumerable friends and extended family can attest. Georgie is survived by her immediate family as well as nephews Ross (Dorothy) Smith and Malcolm (Glenys) Early, sister-in-law Doris Keith (Alex, Janet), brother-in-law Robert (Phyllis Evelyn, Susan, and Paul), Jesse's mother Maureen, as well as many dear friends including those at Circle Drive Place and St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church. The family is grateful to all for the support and kindness offered to Georgie particularly over the past few months. Memorial service will be held at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church on Tuesday, December 12th at 2:00pm with Rev. Amanda Currie officiating. Memorial donations in Georgie's honour would be welcome to the charity of the donor's choice.
