Georgianna Louise Carpenter, 80, died March 11, 2008, in Port Orange. She was born in Albany, N.Y., and lived in Fort Pierce for many years, coming from Glens Falls, N.Y. Before retirement, she was a supervisor at Eden Park Nursing Home in Glens Falls for many years. She graduated from St. Mary's Academy in 1946. Survivors besides her husband of 59 years, Floyd James Carpenter of Fort Pierce; sons, Richard Carpenter of Glens Falls, Daniel Carpenter, David Carpenter and Floyd James Carpenter II, all of Hudson Falls, N.Y., and Rheal Carpenter of Vero Beach; daughters, Laurie Malone of Queensbury, N.Y., and Debbie Robbins of South Glens Falls, N.Y.; brother, Richard Donovan of Fort Edward; 19 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathleen McCullen; and two sisters, Ilene Harrington and Joyce Rivers. Memorial contributions may be made to the Double "H" Hole in the Woods Ranch, 97 Hidden Valley Road, Lake Luzerne, NY 12846. SERVICES: There will be no visitation. Services will be private. A celebration of life will be at 4 p.m. March 16 at the home of her daughter, Laurie Malone in Queensbury. Arrangements are by the M.B. Kilmer Funeral Home in South Glens Falls.
