MESSIER GEORGIANA (PORTELANCE) (nee McGregor) 1915-2004 The family announces with great sorrow her death at the Timmins & District Hospital on Tuesday, February 10, 2004 at the age of 89 years. Predeceased by her first husband Harvey Portelance (1962). Survived by second husband George Messier. Loving mother of Paul (Jeannine) Portelance of Timmins, Marcel (Florence) Portelance of Timmins, Wally (Joanne) Portelance of Timmins, Pauline (Ron) Way of Windsor, Georgette (Joseph) Walker of Windsor, Suzanne (Ron) Boismier of Windsor and Lillianne (Yvon) St. Denis of Windsor. Dear grandmother of 19 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. She leaves to mourn a sister Violet (Late Roger) Lalonde of Onaping. She will be sadly missed by many brothers and sisters-in-law Maurice (Laurette) Messier of Chelmsford, Robert (Alice) Messier of Val Caron, Emile (Francoise) Messier of Sturgeon Falls, Regina (Garry) Kobalych of Sault Ste. Marie, Lucienne (Eric) Lariviere of Bondfield, Estelle (Stu) Montgomery of North Bay and Murielle (Michel) Groulx of Astorville. Predeceased by her son Victor Portelance, her daughter Aline Montfort, her brothers and sisters Wallace, Lawrence, Alice, Madelaine, Marie-Louise, Marie and Bertha as well as her mother and father-in-law Roland and Cecile Messier. Funeral mass will be held on Friday, February 13, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. from St. Sauveur Church. Interment at the Timmins Memorial Cemetery.
