Georgia Mae Williams CRAWFORDVILLE - Georgia Mae "Nanny" Williams, 91, a cook who retired from the Oaks Restaurant, died Tuesday, September 18, 2007. The service will be at 11 a.m. EDT Saturday at River of Life Church, with burial at Mount Olive Cemetery No. 1. Viewing will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at Strong & Jones Funeral Home in Tallahassee (850-224-2139) and from 9 a.m. Saturday until the service at the church.The family will assemble for the funeral at 287 Donaldson-Williams Road. She was a member of Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church in Crawfordville, where she served as a deaconess and member of the usher board. She leaves in her passing her husband, Clyde D. Williams Sr.; four children, James Williams (Evelyn), Willie Williams (Barbara), Carolyn Donaldson (Al) and Ronnie Williams (Anna); a daughter-in-law, Elvira Williams; a nephew whom she raised, Danny Williams; a goddaughter, Gwendolyn Jefferson; a sister-in-law, Georgia Drummond; three brothers-in-law, Frank Williams (Mercedes), Joseph Williams (Edna) and Trave Williams (Gladys); two nieces, Claudia Massenburg and Charity Currington; a nephew, John Trotman; a devoted cousin, Ive Emanuel; 19 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.She was preceded in death by a son, Clyde D. Williams Jr.
