REYNOLDS, Georgia Clark Age 85 of Nashville, TN, passed away in Little Rock, AR Sunday, March 7, 2010. She was born Georgia Mae Clark on October 5, 1924 in Winchester, TN to Robert Monroe Clark and Daisy Holder Clark. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 57 years, Wash Nixon Reynolds; her son, Nixon; brother, Joe Clark and sisters, Eunice Rose, Myrtle Jackson and Evaline Holder. Georgia moved to Nashville from Winchester when she was 18, attended business college and went to work for a bank. She met her husband Wash on a blind date. She was an active member of Southminster Presbyterian Church in Nashville and a volunteer with the American Red Cross for 30 years. She enjoyed working with her flowers and plantings outside in her yard, and taking care of her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, aunt and grandmother. Georgia unselfishly cared for her husband when he became ill with Alzheimer's and rarely left his side for 17 years. She was known by family and friends as a person who was always willing to help others, and who pursued excellence in everything she did. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Caldwell and husband Dan of Little Rock; three grandchildren, Jay, Andrew and Caitlin Caldwell; brother, Robert Monroe Clark, Jr. of Winchester, TN; sisters, Lois Dean of Baton Rouge, LA and Matilda Locke of Manchester, TN; and many beloved nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at 9 a.m. and services at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 13th at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home, 660 Thompson Lane, Nashville, TN 37204: 615-383-4754. A brief burial service will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Red Cross, 2201 Charlotte Ave., Nashville, TN 37203.
