RAYMOND, Georgette Elodie May 4, 1924 - July 12, 2008 Georgette was born and raised in Ghent, Belgium and came to Canada as a warbride in 1946. She initially lived in Arbourfield, SK and then moved to Saskatoon. After a brief stay in Vancouver, she moved with her husband, Lucien to Leduc, AB and subsequently to their permanent home in Edmonton. Georgette is lovingly remembered by her husband of 63 years, Lucien (Luke); daughter Rosemary (Robert) Mann. Our family would like to thank the staff at the University of Alberta Hospital for their kind compassionate and knowledgeable care during Mom' s illness. A private family service was held.
