St. GERMAIN George St. Germain, age 80, of Derby Avenue, Derby, entered into rest on Friday, October 8, 2004, in his home with his loving family by his side. He was the beloved husband, of Emma Johnson St. Germain. Mr. St. Germain was born in Southbridge, Mass., on August 10, 1924, son of the late Benjamin and Eva Piche St. Germain, and was a resident of Derby, for 18 years, coming from Naugatuck. He was a veteran of World War II, where he served with the Army Air Corps, and was an electronics engineer with Dresser Industries until his retirement 12 years ago. He also volunteered at Griffin Hospital. Mr. St. Germain is the beloved father of George St. Germain Jr. and his wife, LuAnne of Milford, Thomas St. Germain of Derby, and Suzanne Altieri and her husband, Michael of Ansonia. He is also survived by two brothers, Walden and Rudolph St. Germain; five loving grandchildren, Dawn, Michele, Jennie, George, and Nick, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Doug St. Germain. Friends may greet the family at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Road, Shelton, on Sunday, from 2 to 6 p.m. His funeral will leave the Riverview Funeral Home, on Monday, at 10:15 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. in St Mary Church, Derby. Burial will follow at Mount Saint Peter Cemetery, in Derby.
