Services for George M. Horn 66 will be 1:00 PM Monday August 23 2004 at the North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons with Bro. Gerald Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgecrest Cemetery. Mr. Horn died Saturday August 21 2004 at his residence. A native of Jackson TN he was the son of the late Vester Thomas and Arlena May Skipper Horn. He was a retired truck driver; and was Church of Christ in belief. Survivors include his wife of 23 years Virginia J. Horn; 2 daughters Judy Phelps of Beech Bluff TN and Cassandra Murchison of Jackson TN; and 3 step children Sarah Finch William West and his wife Lynn and Jamie Schrantz all of Jackson. He also leaves 2 sisters Vicky Falk of Peioria IL and Ricky Olson of Chillicothe IL; 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Casketbearers to serve are Rickey Finch William West Clint West Van Phelps Blake Murchison and Bobby Wyatt. The family will receive friends at the North Chapel of George A.
