O'NEILL Mr. George Joseph O'Neill, age 76, of Milford, beloved husband of Ellen "Eileen" Walsh, passed away on Wednesday, November 10, 2004, in his home. Son of the late Francis J. and Ellen Lister O'Neill, he was born on March 19, 1928, in Belfast, Ireland. Mr. O'Neill immigrated to the U.S. in 1951, settling first in New York City, then in Milford. He retired from Burndy Corp, and has enjoyed wintering in Florida and summering in Connecticut for the past 10 years. In addition to his wife, survivors include his cherished children, Francis O'Neill and his wife, Davene of Shelton, and three daughters, Maureen Muldowney and her husband, Michael of Milford, Ann Selander and her husband, Richard, of Terryville, and Theresa Rourke of Naugatuck; grandchildren, Erin, Kevin, Tara, Casey, Kelly, Danny and Jimmy. He also leaves his brother, Patrick O'Neill and his wife, Kathleen, of Milford; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother and a sister, Hugh and Molly O'Neill. Funeral services from the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad Street, on the Green, Milford, at 9 a.m. on Saturday, November 13, 2004, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Gabriel Church, Milford, at 10 a.m. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Milford.
