George Humphrey May 15, 1925 November 6, 2006 The family sadly announces that George Humphrey passed away on Monday, November 6, 2006. He is remembered by is wife, Evelyn; four children, David (Heather), Scott (Carmen), Laura Penny (Dan) and Colin; five grandchildren, David, Camille, Brodie, Michael, Stephan; and two greatgrandchildren, Zack and Salina. He leaves behind his sisters, Joyce and Marie and was predeceased by brother, Tom. From 1944 to 1946 George served in the Royal Canadian Navy and the Naval Reserve from 1946 to 1975. He was employed by Veterans Affairs until his retirement in 1980. Upon retirement he enjoyed activities such as fishing, road trips around Saskatchewan, going to the lake, visiting museums, naval history, yard sales, hiking and biking. A Memorial Service will be held at Park Funeral Chapel, 311 Third Avenue North, Saskatoon, SK on Friday, November 10, 2006 at 1:30 p.m. officiated by Fr. Richard Spencer. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice. Arrangements entrusted to David Schurr of Park Funeral Chapel, 244-2103.
