ObituaryGeorge Edward Coughlin, age 71, of Ft. Myers, died Saturday, June 21, 2003. Born in Raven Run, PA., he moved to Ft. Myers in 1993 from there. Mr. Coughlin retired from Capitol Trailways as Vice President of Operations with over 35 years of service and was a US Army veteran. He was a member of the VFW post #10097, American Legion #0274 Ft. Myers Beach, Elks Lodge #1288 of Ft. Myers, the Moose Lodge #382 of Steelton, PA. and also the Veteran's Club of America in Ft. Myers Beach. Mr. Coughlin is survived by his loving wife Connie Coughlin (formerly of Harrisburg, PA.) of Ft. Myers; sons, George (Bonnie) Coughlin of Chambersburg, PA. Matthew Coughlin of Shenandoah, PA; granddaughter, Marian Coughlin; sister, Ruth Bakey of Hicksville, NY; stepsons, Ken (Patti) Krovic of Hummelstown, PA., Rudy Krovic of Ft. Myers, step grandson, Justin Krovic. Mr. Coughlin was preceded in death by his brothers, Daniel and James, his sister Jean Smith and his sister Grace Kemp of Ocala, FL., who passed away the same day as George. A memorial service will be held at the American Legion Post #0254 Ft. Myers Beach, Monday, June 30, 11:00 AM.
