OLIVER - Genevieve Marie., age 85, of Oakdale, on October 3, 2012. A faithful Christian who sacrificed and persevered as a single mother to raise five children while obtaining under-graduate and graduate degrees in education. A devoted and caring sixth grade teacher in West Islip schools for thirty years. Her children are forever humbled and grateful. Beloved mother of Mark (Cheri), Brian (Patricia), Robin, Jamie (Becky) and Philip (Laura). Cherished grandmother of Jason, Jeremy, Jesse, Caitlin, Meghan, Colleen, Brian, Jacobs, Jay,Philip and Madelyn and great-grandmother of Jayce, Asher, Mackenzie, Caleb, and Kerrigan. Loving sister of John Kroll(deceased), Marie Dula andDolores Hoffman and loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. Visitation was held at Raynor and D'andrea Funeral Home, 245 Main St. West Sayville, NY 11796. Funeral Mass will be today 11:15 am at St. Lawrence RC Church in Sayville. Interment to follow at Holy Cross cemetery in Broklyn.
