FRANKLIN - Services for Genevieve Hebert Chauvin, 96, will be conducted at 1 p.m. at St. Jules Catholic Church with the Rev. Thomas Vu officiating. Interment will follow in the Franklin Cemetery.Visiting hours will be observed Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of service with a rosary being recited at 12:30 p.m. at St. Jules Catholic Church.A native of Labadieville and lifelong resident of Franklin, Mrs. Chauvin died at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 9, 2005, at Franklin Foundation Hospital.She is survived by her two sons, Donald Joseph Chauvin Sr. and wife Trudy and Larry P. Chauvin and wife Patricia; two daughters, Delores Durham and husband John and Celina C. Duhon all of Franklin; two brothers, Elmer Hebert of Lydia and Emery Hebert of Franklin; two sisters, Margaret Verrett of Jeanerette and Jeanette Greer of Huntsville, Ala.; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter.Mrs. Chauvin was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Joseph Chauvin; parents, Clairville James Hebert and Rosma Naquin Hebert; a son-in-law, Eddie Duhon; a brother, Junnis Paul Hebert; a sister, Carrie Perez and a grandson, Tony Durham.Pallbearers will be Donald J. Chauvin Jr., Elmer Ray Durham, Paul Anthony Chauvin, Timothy Duhon, Todd Chauvin, Troy Duhon, Mark Chauvin, Kiley Chauvin and Lynn Chauvin.Ibert's Mortuary Inc. of Franklin is in charge of the arrangements.
