DRACUT -- Genevieve G. (Hudon) Theriault R.N., 84, a Dracut resident who was a retired nurse and was owner of a local flower shop, died Wednesday, Nov. 23, in a local nursing home. She was the wife of the late Raymond S. Theriault.She was born in Boston, Oct. 31, 1921, daughter of the late Ephrem E. and Bibianna A. (Masse) Hudon. She received her nursing degree from the Cambridge School of Nursing.Mrs. Theriault began her nursing career at Lowell General Hospital and also worked at the former St. Joseph's Hospital. She retired from the former St. John's Hospital where she worked for many years, her final position as head nurse of the Orthopedic floor.In addition to nursing, Mrs. Theriault had been part owner of the House of Flowers which was located on Lakeview Avenue in Lowell.She was a communicant of St. Francis Church in Dracut and was a former Eucharistic Minister.She enjoyed playing cribbage and was a member of the St. Francis Church Cribbage League.She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Diane M. and Thomas E. Kawa, with whom she resided, of Dracut; two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert G. and Karen A. (Allard) Theriault of Nashua and Richard W. and Marie D. (Cailler) Theriault of Dracut; six grandchildren, Ann Marie Theriault, Melissa Theriault and Jason J. Kawa, all of Dracut, Jason R. Theriault and his wife, Alesia of Lowell, Kelly Lynn Theriault and Kristen Kawa, both of Dracut; a step great-grandson, Jordan Murdock of Lowell; also several nieces and nephews.She was also the mother of the late Susanne Theriault-Gookin, and sister of the late Orem and Gerard Hudon.
