GARY MICHAELWILLIAMS, 72Publix LAKELAND - Mr. Gary "Buddy" Williams went home to be with his Savior on December 17, 2010. He died at his home and his cause of death was due to heart failure. He was born September 7, 1938 in Lakeland, Florida. Buddy was at home with his loving wife Pat of 48 years by his side along with son, Michael, sister, Susie and many other family and friends. Gary was a lifelong resident of Lakeland. He served in the 101st Airborne Division of the United States Army. Gary was a 40 year employee of Publix. Gary is predeceased by his sister, Carolyn Jones. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Malcolm Williams, Lakeland, son, Michael Williams, Lakeland, brother, Vance (Sherrie) Williams, Lakeland, sister, Susie (Paul) Nass, Fullerton, Ca., sister-in-law, Sandy Malcolm Bryant, Lakeland, several generations of nieces and nephews and pet cat, Priscilla Rose. Funeral Services will be held on Monday December 20, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at Family Worship Center, 1350 E. Main Street, Lakeland, Florida with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be held at Lakeland Memorial Gardens. At this Blessed Season of giving in lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to the Family Worship Center Building Fund.
