Gary A. Head Jr., 28    BUXTON -- Gary A. Head Jr., 28, died unexpectedly on Thursday, Nov. 16, 2006.     He was born in Portland on Sept. 8, 1978, the son of Gary A. and Kelley J. (Callaghan) Head Sr.     He attended Buxton schools, Cheverus High School, and graduated from Bangor High School. He was a lifelong resident of Buxton and Portland.     He is survived by three siblings, Randi Lea Head, Michael Head, and Autumn Head, all of Buxton. uncles Delmar Head Jr. of Portland, Wayne Head of Harrison, and Randy Head of Buxton; and aunts Deborah Reardon of Buxton, Diane Callaghan of Buxton, and Wendy Morse-Baldwin of Portland; and his living grandparent is Pauline (Ferrante) Riley of Portland.      He was predeceased by his uncles Ronnie Head of Portland and Robert Callaghan of Portland.      He was a full-time student at the University of Southern Maine and worked for Ingraham Volunteers. He was known for his dedication to completing his education in criminology and psychology. He loved life and always had a warm smile for everyone. With his inquisitive mind, he enjoyed the pursuit of knowledge, reading and learning about the natural things in life.     His passions were snowboarding, biking, and mastering video games.     He loved people, music and travel. The most sociable and kind-hearted person you could hope to meet, he leaves behind many happy and memorable moments that will always be cherished and remembered by family and friends. He will be loved and missed forever.      Visiting hours will be on Sunday evening from 6-9 p.m. at the Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home, Rts. 202 and 4A (13 Portland Road) in Buxton. A funeral service will be held on Monday morning at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at South Buxton (Tory Hill) Cemetery.     www.dcpate.com    Gary A. Head Jr.
