Brenda Gail Smith, 54, of 1102 Bleckley St., died Sunday, Aug. 4, 2002, at Anderson Area Medical Center. Born in Anderson, she was a daughter of Betty Burnette Wood of Iva, and the late Charles E. Wood. Survivors: A son, Scott Smith, of Anderson; a daughter, Christie Saxon, of Anderson; a brother, Greg Wood, of Iva; sisters, Karen Bennett of Iva, and Lynn Carey, Judy Williams and Hollie Carter, all of Anderson; and three grandchildren. Visitation: 7 to 9 tonight at The McDougald Funeral Home. Service: 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral chapel. Burial: Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Family: 130 Drake Circle, Iva.
