ALBANY Gail A. Haskins Johnson, 50, died Monday, November 24, 2003 at Albany Memorial Hospital after a long struggle with a rare lung disease. She was born in Albany, the daughter of Emma Lee and the late Albert Haskins. She was raised in Albany and had been employed formerly at Green's Office Outfitters. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was the wife of Leon Johnson Sr. and is also survived by her children, Lynette Smith, Troy, Melanie Houze, Albany, Leon Johnson Jr., Albany, Leona Johnson, Albany, Justin Johnson, Albany and Jahkim Wilson; brothers, Gary Haskins and Jason Lee and the late Roy Haskins; sister, the late Lynne Haskins; sisters-in-law, Torrey Johnson, Amy Lee, Carol Haskins and Sharon Haskins; brothers-in-law, Kenny Johnson and the late Danny Johnson; grandchildren, Sadaia Wilson, Qiarah Miles, Tesfari Davis Jr. and Kabrion Sales; also a host of nieces, nephews; special friends, Kavery Pace, Leroy Miles and Tesfari Davis Sr. Funeral service will be Saturday 9 a.m. at Zwack & Sons, 633 Central Avenue, Albany. Relatives and friends are also invited to call Friday 4 to 8 p.m. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery, Albany. Donations to Albany Memorial Hospice.
