PAYER, Gaetan Peacefully at the CSSS (Hull Hospital) on Thursday, August 2, 2007, in his 85th year. He is survived by his loving wife, Clara Lapointe, and his 5 children, Louise, Carole, Gilles (Jo-Anne Lemay), Pierre and Luc (Kara Lusignan). Cherished grand-father of Sylvain, Eric, Justin, Karl and David. Predeceased by his parents, Evariste Payer and Juliette Pilon, brother Rosaire (late Jeanne Stevens) and sister Therese (Jacques Corneau). Dear brother of Maria (late Albert Chiasson), Rita (late Joseph Lucas), Lucien (late Evelyn Nevins), Roger (late Lucia Lahaie), Yvette (late Albert Gervais), Marcel (Clemence Bedard), Pauline (late Marcel Leduc) and Jean-Marie (Huguette Renaud). Fondly remembered by his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Sadly missed by many friends. At the family's request, there will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, August 8 at 11:00 a.m. at Notre-Dame de l'Ile Church, 115 Sacre-Coeur Blvd, Gatineau. The family will receive condolences at 10:15 a.m. in the church.
