MARTINEZ, Ga. - Ms. Gloria Jean Moore of Cherry Street departed this life on January 13, 2004, at St. Joseph Hospital. She was born July 3, 1944 to Mr. Alphonso Moore and Mrs. Geneva Moore of Martinez. Mr. Alphonso Moore preceded her in death. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church, Martinez, Ga., where the Reverend George A. Smith is pastor. Ms. Moore was loved by her family and she leaves to cherish her memory, her mother, Mrs. Geneva Moore; two brothers, Alphonso Moore Jr. and Vernon (Torey) Tucker; two sisters, Dorothy Thomas and Loretta (Melden) Bush.; a devoted niece, LaSonya Moore; one great-niece, Alexis Cook; devoted cousins, Mr. and Mrs. Robert W. White of Philadelphia, Pa., Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Harris of Chiefland, Fla.; and a host of other loved ones and friends. Graveside services will be held Saturday, January 17, 2004, at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery, Martinez, Ga., at 11 a.m. Family and friends will assemble at the residence, 113 Ch erry Street, Martinez, Ga., at 10:30 a.m. The repast will follow at the residence.
