GAIL CAROLE SMITH - ST. ALBANS - Gail Carole Smith, 61, of Green Mountain Drive, passed away peacefully in her sleep, on Monday morning, Nov. 5, 2012, at her home in St. Albans. Gail was born Sept. 19, 1951, in Newport News, Va., the daughter of the late Norman and Carole Drury Smith. Gail's passions were music, puzzles, bowling, bingo and having lunch on Thursdays with her friends. Gail is survived by her brother, Doug Smith and his wife, Dee, of Grand Isle; her niece and nephews, Rachael Keyser and her husband, Bill, of Winooski, Hans Smith and his wife, Lauren, of Colchester and Corbin Smith of Burlington; and her stepmother, Evelyn Smith of Wake Robin in Shelburne. She leaves her very close friends, with whom she made her home, Rita and Jerry L'Esperance of St. Albans, as well as their loving extended large family; as well as special friends, Paula and Roger Cory, Louise Beaudoin, Amy Bronson, Michelle Moss, Danielle Webster and Joel. Special thanks to Dr. Tonino and Kathy Cassidy of Home Health for their loving care. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at 10 a.m. in Holy Angels Catholic Church on Lake Street in St. Albans, with Fr. Maurice Roy, celebrant. A private interment will take place in the Hinesville Cemetery in Hinesville, Ga., at a later date. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Minor Funeral Home, Route 7 in Milton. Online condolences may be made at www.minorfh.com.
