G. Wayne Davis, age 77 of Oak Valley on Friday, October 26, 2012. Wayne was born in Chester, PA, and had been a resident of Deptford Township for 54 years. He worked for 19 years at Texaco in sales, 35 years for Heritage's, and for the last 10 years worked at Pitman Manor. Wayne was an active member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, he was a former member of the Methodist Men's Bowling League, the Florence Lodge, and had been a Cub Scout Troop Leader. Husband of Teresa M. (nee Gamble), he is also survived by three sons Bruce Davis (Darla) of Colorado Springs, CO, Donald Davis Sr. of Wenonah, Jeffrey Davis of West Deptford, 5 grandchildren Scott, Carisa, Corrine, Donald Jr., Daniel, 5 great grandchildren Noah, Morgan, Braden, Pete, Brianna, sister Norma Heaton of Pennsgrove, and a brother Leroy Davis of Ruskin, FL. Relatives and friends may visit with the family 5 PM to 8 PM Tuesday, October 30th and 9:30 to 11 AM Wednesday, October 31st at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 74 Church Street, Thorofare, NJ. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM. Interment will be in Eglington Cemetery.
