Decatur<!--Decatur-->Funeral for Fuller Ray Johnson, 85, of Decatur will be today, Dec. 3, 2007, at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Charles Smith officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.Mr. Johnson, who died Saturday, Dec. 1, 2007, at Decatur General Hospital, was born Oct. 19, 1922, in Alabama to Thomas B. Johnson and Ettie L. Fuller Johnson. He retired as a truck driver from ConAgra. He was a member of Point Mallard Baptist Church. He was a loving husband, wonderful father and grandfather. Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Isaiah, Douglas, Howard and J.D.; and one grandson, Jeff Terry. Survivors include his wife, Vonda L. Johnson; two sons, Jerry Johnson and wife, Delores, of Decatur and Danny Johnson and wife, Carol, of Greenville, S.C.; daughter, Gerrie Bowling, and husband, Wayne, of Decatur; sister, Wiladean Thigpen; five grandchildren, Jason Johnson, Chad Johnson, Mark Johnson, Ashley Johnson and Traci Bolan; and six greatgrandchildren, Codey and Kaleb Terry, Braxton and Brylynn Bolan and Caden and Makinley Johnson. Pallbearers will be Mark Johnson, Wayne Bowling, Tommy Thigpen, Larry Johnson, Chad Johnson and Jason Johnson. Honorary pallbearers will be Herman Myers and Jeano Shirey.In lieu of flowers, love offerings may be made to AseraCare Hospice or to the Point Mallard Baptist Church Building Fund.
