JOHNSON Fred Johnson, a resident of 6211 Lobelia Street, passed September 17, 2008. He was a member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, Baldwin, Florida, Rev. Eugene Williams, pastor. Mr. Johnson retired from the United States Postal Service after 34 years of service. He was recently employed at William M. Raines High School providing security. Mr. Johnson is survived by a devoted family that includes wife: Jessie Mae (Betty) Johnson; son, Fred Johnson Jr.; daughters, Sandra Johnson and Bettye Johnson; brother, Will Johnson Jr.; grandchildren, Fred III, Farrah and Zabriella; great grandchild, Jocques; special nieces, Joyce Johnson, Erika Fields Marshall; sisters-in-law, Sara (Aunt Jo) Register and Cora Lee Brown; brother-in-law, Clifford Register; a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday at New St. Paul Baptist Church, 550 Franklin Street, Baldwin, FL and the interment will be in Piney Grove Cemetery.
