ObituaryFrancis W. 'Frank' Payer, 55, of San Carlos Park, died Monday, March 26, 2001 at his residence. He had been a resident of the area since 1979 coming from Pittsburgh, PA. He was a veteran of Vietnam having served in the U.S. Marine Corps. Frank was a former Pennsylvania State Trooper and was an electrician by trade. For the past 4 years he was employed by Beaumont Electric. He was a member of the American Legion Post 303 and the VFW Post 4254 both of Bonita Springs. He is survived by his mother, Helen Payer of Irwin, PA; brother, Timothy S. (Mary) Payer of Pittsburgh, PA; sister, Mary Beth (Jim) Pardoe of White Oak, PA; Maternal Grandmother, Elizabeth Ditzurak of McKeesport, PA; two nieces, Carley Pardoe and Ashley Payer, nephew, Alexander Payer and many dear friends including, Sharon, Debi and Tricky D. A memorial service celebrating Frank's life will be held Wednesday (TODAY) at 6:00 p.m. at Walter Shikany's Bonita Funeral Home 28300 Tamiami Tr. So., Bonita Springs, FL.
