PATTERSON, Francis Gerald Allan January 11, 1928 June 3, 2008 Born in 1928 to Allan and Ruth Patterson in New Westminster, Vancouver. Gerald lived in Mill Bay from the age of two years, where later he and Pat raised a family and established his log hauling business named Gerald Patterson Logging Ltd. He was active in the Mill Bay community through his gracious involvement with the Water Board, School Board, Fire Department and various events throughout the years. He enjoyed years of salmon fishing, camping and travelling to foreign lands such as Nepal. Gerald had numerous friends and acquaintances who together had many enjoyable times in the company of one another. He will be missed. Predeceased by his lovely wife Patricia, sons Michael and William, daughter Becky and sister Jean. Survived by his daughters Louise and Mary. Grandfather to Michael, Lauren, Andrew and Tyler and great grandfather of Alannah. A memorial to celebrate Gerald's life will be held at St. Johns Anglican Church, 3295 Cobble Hill Road in Cobble Hill, BC on Monday June 9 at 11am. In lieu of flowers donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. 474539
