DELAND - Frances Bernice Akins Wilson, 64, of South Adelle Avenue, a 30-year employee of Sherwood Medical Company, died Wednesday at home. Mrs. Wilson was born in DeLand, and was a lifelong resident of this area. She was a member of Mount Zion AME Church, where she sang in the choir and was the Church treasurer. She was a 1959 graduate of Euclid High School. Survivors include her husband, Benjamin; three sons, Craig, DeLand, Wendell, Albany, Ga., and Gary, Melbourne; a daughter, Vicki Wilson, Tallahassee; two brothers, Phil Akins, Jacksonville, and Paul Akins, New York; a sister, Helen Young, Sarasota; 11 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Mack is in charge.
