Frances Way Mitchell, 81 of Eminence, died Thursday, April 10, 2014, at Jewish Hospital, Shelbyville. She was the daughter of the late John Thomas Way and Effie Nelson Way and was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Mitchell, and brother, Kenneth Way. Survivors incude two daughters, Janet Golden of Eminence, Debbie Hartford of Eminence. Service was Monday at the Eminence Baptist Church. Interment was in Eminence Cemetery. Visitation was Sunday at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home, and Monday at the church prior to the funeral service. Memorial contributions can be given to Eminence Baptist Church.
