Frances Mae Reeves Davis, 85, of 3103 Old Buncombe Road, died Thursday, Sept. 5, 2002, at Greenville Memorial Hospital. A native of Canton, N.C., she was a daughter of the late Auyer and Frances McKinnish Reeves, a retired employee of Kerr Finishing Company. She was the last surviving member of the Reeves family. Surviving are her husband, Cecil G. Davis of the home; a niece, Katherine Stewart of Greenville; three nephews, Lawrence B. Trexler, Cecil R. Trexler, and Bobby Ramsey, all of Asheville, N.C. Funeral services will be held 4 p.m. Saturday at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by the Rev. Jim Grubbs. Burial will be in Greenville Memorial Gardens. The visitation will be from 3 until 4 p.m. today at The Wood Mortuary. The family is at the home.
