A private memorial service for Frances Murphy, 83, will be held at a later date. Mrs. Murphy died on Tuesday, June 3, 2014, at RMC Jacksonville. She is survived by two daughters, Mary (Ronnie) LaPier and Marsha (Rabian) Lumpkin; two sons, Randy (Sharon) Murphy and Patrick Murphy; eight grandchildren, Michelle LaPier, Shawn Dingler, Herbie Murray, John Murray, Stanley Andrews, Aleasha Merriman, Kati Mangum and Angela Murphy; 18 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Flora Fortenberry, Grace Kitchens and Barbara Johnson; one brother, Aaron (Norma) Wright and several nieces and nephews including a special nephew, Jim Wright. Mrs. Murphy was a retired caregiver and a founding member of Community Congregational Holiness Church.
