She was born on June 23, 1924 in Akron, Ohio. Frances worked for Goodyear Aerospace while she and her husband, Frank, were raising their family in the Portage Lakes. They retired to Fort Myers in 1978. Frances was very active with the Fort Myers Villas Association where she had many good friends. Even after the loss of her beloved husband, Frank, in 1991, she continued to stay active by learning to play a keyboard, crocheting potholders, and playing bingo.She is survived by her sons: Greg (Glinda) Morris, Bruce (Linda) Morris, and Scott (Svetla) Morris. Frances will truly be missed by her brother, James (Maxine) Emmons. Her family includes 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.A visitation will be at Fort Myers Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on Saturday, May 4, 2013 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. Memorial service will follow at 2:00 PM. Burial will be in Akron, Ohio at a future date. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hope Hospice in Cape Coral, FL would be greatly appreciated.
