Mary Frances Garrison Mitchell, 75, of 25 Emily Lane, wife of John Rudolph Mitchell, died Friday, Feb. 6, 2004, at Laurel Baye Health Care of Greenville.Born in Greenville County, she was the daughter of the late Cecil Eugene and Nellie Mae Crews Garrison. She was a homemaker and was a member of Piedmont Church of God of Prophecy.Surviving are her husband of fifty-seven years; a daughter, Rachel Yvonne Dickson, of Piedmont; a son, David Mitchell, of Greenville; grandchildren, DeWitt Dickson, Landi Farrow, Kristi Craine and Ryan Barmore; and seven great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Gray Mortuary Chapel, Pelzer, conducted by the Rev. Barry Manley. Burial will follow at Greenville Memorial Gardens.The family is at the home, and will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
