DAVIS, FRANCES G. Gainesville - Frances G. Davis, of Gainesville, passed away on March 19, 2007 after a two and a half year battle with cancer. Born in Brooklyn, New York on June 30, 1950, she is the daughter of the late Frank and Marcella Cunningham. Francie loved family, friends, planes, people and flying and was a Ticket Agent for U.S. Airways. She was an involved member of her parish church St. Patrick's. Francie is survived by her husband; Charles Davis, her three sisters; Patricia Norton - Staten Island, NY, Marcella Thonen - N. Richland Hills, TX, and Jacqueline Arleo - Kissimmee. Also surviving her are her "Chosen Children"; Nieces, Colleen Daddino, Loraine Shea, and Nephews, Sean Norton, Joel Thonen, Frankie Arleo, and Michael Arleo. (In Her Heart they were her own). She also had four great nieces and nephews who brought her numerous joy, Madeline and Brennan Shea, Matthew Daddino, and Ariana Arleo. A visitation for Family and friends will be at Milam Funeral Home, 311 S. Main St., Gainesville, Sunday, March 25, from 2-4 and 6-8. Mass will be held at 11 AM, Monday at St. Patrick's Church, 412 N.E. 16th Ave. The family requests in lieu of flowers, contributions be sent to The Palliative Care Unit of the V. A.
