EDWARDS, Frances Frances Meaders Edwards, 90, of Atlanta, died April 20, 2014. A native of Atlanta, Frances graduated from Girls High. She then attended Agnes Scott College and Georgia State University. She was a Navy wife and traveled to many states with her husband and family. She was retired from IRS. Frances took up the family genealogy, and some of her research was published. She was a member of the Atlanta Chapter of the DAR. Her favorite flowers were Gardenias and Daises. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Arthur Meaders and Gladys Winnifred Romefelt; husband, Emory Howel Edwards, Jr. and son, Thomas Meaders Edwards. Mrs. Edwards is survived by her daughter, Nancy Jo Bauer and her husband Lee Bauer; son, Emory Howel III and his wife, Lynne Maloney Edwards; daughter, Kimlyn Edwards; grandchildren, Timothy Paul Fijak, Patricia Lynn Fijak, Kevin Scott Fijak and Victoria Lynn Vener; great grandchildren, Patricia Fijak, Courtney Fijak, Kj Fijak, Rebecca Driscoll and Robert Driscoll. Mrs. Edwards will be cremated. There will be no service. A. S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.
