WILLIAMS - Frances Fischer (nee Fiederer), age 88, died peacefully on Thursday, November 27, 2003 at the Claremont Center in Point Pleasant, NJ. Frances was born in Miltisch, Austria on July 19, 1915. She came to the United States in 1921 settling with her family in Dunnellen, NJ. She was a long time resident of Fair Lawn. Frances graduated in 1937 from St. Peters College in Jersey City with a degree in nursing. She worked as a Registered Nurse at the Montclair Community Hospital in Montclair for 40 years before her retirement in 1983. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart R.C. Church in Bayhead, NJ. Surviving is her daughter Judy and her husband Paul Hildebrandt of Allendale, and her son Bruce Fischer and his wife Barni of Waikola, HI, four grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, six great grandchildren, ten step-great grandchildren, and her sister Magdalena Kollien of Piscataway, NJ. Frances was pre-deceased by her husbands, Wallace J. Fischer in 1985, and Charles Williams in 1997. Funeral services will be held Thursday 11 AM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home 257 Godwin Avenue Wyckoff. Interment will follow in the Wyckoff Reformed Church Cemetery.
