MELOCHE, Frances Colleen (nee Smith) 57 years, died on October 30, 2003 (Angels Night) at Windsor Regional Hospital, Metropolitan Campus after a courageous battle. Beloved wife of David of Windsor. Loving mother of Heath David Meloche and his wife Sonia of Windsor. Beloved daughter of Hazel (nee Hornsby) Smith of Windsor and the late Henry Smith (1965). Dear sister of Kenneth Smith and his wife Mary of Munster, Indiana, Robert Smith and his wife Connie of Windsor, Douglas Smith and his wife Wanda of Tecumseh and Bill Lozon and his wife Pat of Chatham. Dear sister-in-law of Suzanne Farough of Tampa, Florida, Lisa Mitchell of Chatham, Mike Clark and his wife Linda of Belle River. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Dearest best friend of Cathy Phillips and Jan Rieveley, both of Windsor. Fran was an active member of the Windsor 5-Pin Bowling Association. Visiting at Janisse Bros-Marcotte Funeral Home, 1139 Ouellette Avenue (253-5225) on Friday 7-9 p.m. and Saturday 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. and Sunday 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. with parish prayers on Sunday at 8:00 p.m. PLEASE NOTE: Friends are requested to meet the family on Monday, November 3, 2003 at St. Theresa's Church for further visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Fr. Richard Cartier officiating. Interment in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. A tree will be planted in memory of Fran Meloche in the Janisse Bros-Marcotte Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held September 26, 2004. All are welcome.
