CARTER, FRANCES, 80, of Louisville, passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2008. She was preceded in death by Chester R. Carter, her husband of 24 years; and her sister, Doris Sheneman. She is survived by four sisters, Betty Marshall, Ruby Wilson (Louis), Barbara Scott (Tom) and Molly Watts (Shirley); two daughters, Patsy Haas (James) and Robin Burgen (James); four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Her funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Pearson-Ratterman Brothers Funeral Home, 12900 Shelbyville Rd. and burial will follow in the Mitchell City Cemetery, in Mitchell IN. Visitation will be held 9 a.m. until time of service on Monday.
