MILLER, FRANCES AUBREY, 81, of Louisville, died Sunday, July 4, 2010 at Oaklawn Health Care. Frances graduated from Valley High School Class of 1949 and immediately started her career at Southern Bell Telephone Company, now AT&T, where she worked 33 ½ years. She was a member of St. Martha Catholic Church, The church's Altar Society and Minister of the Eucharist. She was also a member of Jefferson County Homemakers, Buechel Women's Club, the Telephone Pioneers of America and Amicitia Club. Preceding her in death were her parents, Leona Shelton and Elmer Charles Aubrey, her husband, Jack Phillip Miller and her son, Mark Evan Miller. Survivors include a sister-in-law and her husband, Elizabeth and Deacon Gene Waldon; their children Julie, Ellen and Lynn; a sister-in-law Anita Newell; a close friend Betty Gelthaus as well as many other friends. Her funeral service will be 10 a.m. Thursday, July 8, 2010 at Ratterman & Sons Funeral Home Chapel, 3800 Bardstown Road, with entombment to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation: 3-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to WHAS Crusade for Children in her memory.
