Ayers, Jr., died November 12, 2007 at the Cottages at Brushy Creek.A native of Spartanburg County, daughter of the late Furman and Leona Thompson Kirby, she was a retired employee of Lockwood Green Engineering and a member of Friendship Baptist Church. Her family is thankful for the excellent care she received at the nursing facility.Surviving are a sister, Juanita Kirby of Lyman; three step-sons, Chris, Mark, and Bill Ayers; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, November 17, 2007 at the Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Laneir Singleton.Honorary escort will be the James F.
