FLOYD SMITH 1934 - 2004 Smith - We sadly announce with great sorrow the passing of Floyd Smith, on September 11, 2004 at the Kirkland & District Hospital at the age of 70 years. Floyd was predeceased by his mother, Grace and his father Harry Smith. He is survived by his loving wife Colleen Smith, his son Mike and wife Sherri of Kirkland Lake, daughter Renee and husband Wade of Fort McMurray Alberta, his brother Milton Smith and his wife Laura, nephew Tim Smith and niece Marleen Gerviens (Smith). Floyd will be fondly remembered by his loving grandchildren Jason, Teri, Scotty, Rianne and Melissa. The Smith Family will welcome relatives and friends at the Monette & French Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 15th, 2004 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral will take place from the "Teck-Hughes" Chapel of the Monette & French Funeral Home on Thursday, September 16th, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. with Captain Bonita Hébert officiating. Floyd's remains will be laid to rest in the Kirkland Lake Cemetery in the family plot. Donations in Floyd's Memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
